The Best Classic Shoes That Have Been Given a Gore Tex Twist.

Gore Tex is a truly brilliant technology, however sometimes you want a shoe that is more subtle, and understated. We’ve selected our favourite shoes that feature the waterproof power of Gore Tex, but on silhouettes that we all love and know.

Nike Air Max 90 Gore Tex.

Nike and Gore Tex have smashed it with this pair. Using the classic and sought after ‘Infrared’ colour way, these particular shoes replace the ‘Air Max’ branding on the mid section and tongue and instead feature Gore Tex’s branding. The shoes are comprised predominantly from leather and mesh, with Gore Tex’s waterproof coating to ensure your feet stay dry. The shoes are also available in a tonal monochrome colour way.

Clarks Originals Wallabee GTX.

From one classic to the next. Clarks and Gore Tex have teamed up to reimagine their Wallabee in a Gore Tex coated suede upper, with a chunky Vibram sole to add extra tread. The shoes come in 3 colour ways and are perfect for if you want something smart, with that outdoor durability.

New Balance 2002R Gore Tex.

The classics just keep coming with the New Balance 2002R, with a Gore Tex twist. The shoes come in New Balance’s classic suede and mesh uppers, and feature subtle Gore Tex branding throughout. Adidas Originals Bern Gore Tex.

Adidas’ turn to add a Gore Tex twist to one of their classics now. The Bern features Adidas’ trademark 3 stripes down the outside and inside of the shoe.

Converse Chuck 70 Gore Tex.
